Fire Twirling with Poi Course
Wednesdays @ 6.30 - 7.30pm 22 Feb - 28 March J Studios - 100 Barkly St, North Fitzroy In this poi course you can learn the basics starting from the beginning or fill in the gaps that are stopping you from achieving flow with your poi dance. We will explore planes, timing and direction to improve your poi flow and work at your level to get you fire dancing with confidence and grace. PLUS we will take you to the park for your final class so you can light your poi with the teacher's guidance! Beginner moves include: turns, butterfly moves, extensions, pendulums, weaves and buzzsaw in both directions. Intermediate moves include: behind the body turns, pendulums, thread the needle, air wraps, flowers, stalls, windmills and fountains. *We will teach to your level, class size is small to cater to you. *Poi are provided for the class or you can order some to purchase from Home of Poi with a 15% discount quoting josie5. |
