Cost: $20 casual (practice poi can be purchased for $15) PRIVATE & GROUP FIRE TWIRLING SESSIONS Want to learn how to fire twirl now that you have the time to pursue some new hobbies? Puzzle Dust is now running Poi classes by arrangement on the Gold Coast! Poi are fire wicks on chains that you spin around and dance with, creating beautiful shapes and patterns with the fire (see pic right). We use soft, colourful fabric poi in class to learn first before you progress to fire poi (see pic right below fire). Anyone can learn with practice and this is a super fun way to tone your arms, work your right and left brain and find your flow state! You can choose to book a 1 hour skill-based class with fabric poi or a 2 hour session where you will try fire poi at the end. Due to Covid we can't share props so you will need your own practice poi which can be bought for just $15 at the time of booking - or you can BYO if you already have some. Fire equipment and fuel will be supplied in the two hour session (and sanitised) but you will still need your own practice poi. 1 hour practice poi class includes: - Warm up - How to hold your poi - Learn 10+ tricks with poi - Transition moves for smooth flow *Note: we don't use actual fire in this class, just learn tricks and skills Cost: $50 per person private session *BYO poi or we can bring you a pair of practice poi to keep for $15 or a pair of fire poi for $50.
